On Thursday, the police have received several alarms concerning one or more men who have entered the homes of elderly people with the intention of stealing. The method is said to be that a man knocks on the door and claims to be a taxi driver who wants to leave his number. In another case, the man has claimed that he wants to leave a message for a neighbor. The purpose is said to be to keep the victim occupied while other perpetrators sneak into the elderly people's homes. So far, four alarms have been received with similar descriptions and in all cases, the elderly have been affected. This has occurred in different parts of Gothenburg and Mölndal.
