A complaint of attempted fraud is drawn up.

During the afternoon, the police were contacted by a person who is said to have been a victim of suspected telephone fraud. The person is said to have received an SMS stating that they had goods to collect at an electronics store. The complainant is said to have then called the number that was in the SMS. The person is said not to have lost any money.

The police have been on the scene for questioning. A report of an attempt at fraud is being drawn up. 

If you are unsure whether the information is correct, contact the company through their official contact channels. Do not call the number specified.

Tips for preventing fraud
Hang up the phone if an unknown person calls.
Never give out a code or bank card to an unknown person.
Do not log in with BankID if an unknown person instructs you to do so.
Do not click on any links in emails or SMS.
Do not call unknown numbers that you have received via an SMS.

Report a crime
If you suspect that you have been a victim of telephone fraud, you should make a police report and contact your bank. You can make a police report by calling the police's contact center on the phone number 114 14, visiting a police station, or through our e-service.
