00:47 Assault, Umeå
Police are called to central Umeå due to an assault at a bar. Two men in their mid-20s were involved. A report and counter-report regarding assault are filed.

01:23 Traffic offense, Sorsele
A tractor is checked on county road 1132. It is suspected of exceeding the speed limit for the vehicle type. The driver, a teenager, is suspected of unauthorized driving. The case is handled with the method of faster prosecution

01:59 Traffic accident, Umeå
A report of a single-vehicle accident in Tomtebo, Umeå, is received. A car is said to have left the road. The driver is given a ride to medical care for examination. There is no suspicion of a crime.

A wildlife accident has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.

Summary of the police's work during the Brännbollsyran festival in Umeå

During the evening, 13 people have been taken into custody with the support of the law on the detention of intoxicated persons (LOB) and three people have been removed from the festival area.

The police have carried out checks together with, among other things, Umeå municipality, environmental and health inspectors, fire inspectors, and the Labour Inspection Authority on companies selling food at the festival area.

The police have filed reports regarding two sexual harassment, one theft, one serious theft (of an entrance armband), three trafficking offenses, four minor narcotics offenses, two violent resistance, one incitement to a group of people, and one assault.
