14 people have been taken into custody for drunkenness and one person has been taken in for testing after suspicion of a narcotics offense.
The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

23:03 Drunken driving, Sundsvall
Police check a car whose driver lacks a driver's license and is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. A blood test is performed. A report is to be drawn up and the car key is to be taken into custody.
00:18 Wildlife accident, Örnsköldsvik
A car and elk in an accident on E4 at Kasa. There are no reports that the two people in the car were in need of care. The police have been on the scene and a report on a wildlife accident without suspicion of a crime is to be drawn up.
01:51 Assault, Sundsvall
Reports of assault in Nacksta arrive. A man and a woman are plaintiffs. There is no suspect remaining on the scene. A report is to be drawn up.
02:09 Drunken driving, Timrå
According to initial reports, a vehicle has driven into lamp posts and down into a ditch. The driver is suspected of gross drunken driving, unauthorized driving, and assault on a public official. A report is to be drawn up.
