The hours of 00-07, three people have been taken into custody for intoxication. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

Here follows a selection of the night's events:

01:58 Assault, Umeå
Police are dispatched to central Umeå due to a man being assaulted by several people outdoors. Three men in their 25-30-year-olds are arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault. Interrogations are held and the prosecutor decides to detain them.

Two wildlife accidents have been reported to the police during the night and morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.

Summary of the police's work in Skellefteå during the evening and night

The police who worked during the evening and night report that there were an incredibly large number of people at the bars in central Skellefteå and the atmosphere was relatively good at all places. Many places were full and there were long queues. However, there was a high level of intoxication and the orderlies had a lot to do: They had to deal with stagings, rejections and refusing people to enter the bars.

The police have taken four people into custody with the support of the law on the detention of intoxicated persons (LOB), six people have been removed, handled two cases of suspected narcotics offenses (use and possession) and handled three minors who tried or succeeded in entering the bar.
