Police and Rescue Service were alerted to a fire in an apartment on Basungatan.
On the scene, police patrols are assisting the rescue service with rescue work. 
A man has been taken out of the affected apartment by the rescue service. The man has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police have started an investigation into arson. The area is cordoned off and a technical examination will be carried out.
