During the night, the police were alerted about smoke development in a sports hall in Sollefteå municipality. It is said to have burned on the site and there was a risk of extensive destruction. The case is being investigated as arson and the site is cordoned off for technical examination. On the site, an elderly man is apprehended. After questioning, the prosecutor will decide whether he should be detained or released on bail.
