In Wimbledon, players must namely have all-white clothing.

To be able to honor Jota, Cabral was allowed to have his black band on his arm, in his match in the second round. The Portuguese tennis player describes the Liverpool striker as an "idol, icon, and really good person".

I know what he has gone through, what he has overcome in his career and in his life. So he is very inspiring to me", says Cabral.

I wish the best for his family. I know they have good people around them so I hope they can get through it.

Cabral plays doubles with the Austrian Lucas Miedler. The duo lost the meeting against the Czechs Petr Nouza and Patrik Riki.

The British doubles player Neal Skupski is a big Liverpool supporter, and is considering wearing a mourning band if he gets Wimbledon's permission.
