The risks with the Kinderkraft Mink Pro 2 car seat were discovered in a test and Råd & Rön has chosen to issue the warning even though not all new models have been tested.
We have found a car seat that is so bad and that we consider so dangerous that we cannot sit on the results until the entire test is published, says Ronny Karlsson, test manager at Råd & Rön, to TV4 Nyheterna.
The warning applies to the so-called Isofix base. If you use the seat belt to attach the car seat instead, it is crash-proof.
The company Kinderkraft says it will investigate the problem but is not withdrawing the seat from the market. It is offering customers a refund if they contact the company.
