The Superettan club Utsikten has been requested to go bankrupt by an employee, but the association claims that it is not relevant with any bankruptcy.

”It is true that the club is in a challenging economic situation, and we are working actively to strengthen our economy in the long term. But we want to emphasize that any bankruptcy is not relevant, and the business continues as usual”, writes the football club from Gothenburg on its website.

The association confirms that there is an ongoing dispute with a former employee, ”who has chosen to take the case further to the district court”, writes Utsikten.

Göteborgs-Posten reported on Monday that an employee has not received a salary since the spring and that he now has requested Utsikten into bankruptcy. He believes that the club owes him 79,281 kronor, writes GP.

With four matches left to play, the team is on the lower qualifying spot in Superettan.
