The incident occurred during a debate on November 29 about the view on mRNA vaccines, which are used against covid-19.
Unni Björnerfors is a pronounced vaccine skeptic and has, among other things, claimed that the vaccine causes dementia and "turbo cancer", according to an investigation in Dagens ETC.
We have talked to Unni, she understands that the chamber is only for members of parliament, says Johan Tireland, chairman of SD Stockholm to Expressen.
Prior to the debate, vaccine-skeptical groups on social media had urged people to come to the parliament to follow it on site.
The parliament's rules of order state that former members of parliament have access to the chamber in certain cases, but that they should then sit in specially designated seats – something that Unni Björnerfors did not comply with.
It is unclear how Björnerfors gained access to the premises.
Security has been a topic of debate since Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) was subjected to a tomato attack earlier this fall. After that, a protective net has been set up around the spectator gallery in the chamber.
Unni Björnerfors' visit to the member's seat will not lead to any further measures from the parliament's side, says Carina Larsson, press secretary at the Riksdag Administration.
"We have no further comment on the incident", she writes in a comment to Expressen.
