The fire, which broke out on Tuesday afternoon, quickly spread to nearby apartments.
Amundsson is a rescue leader and has worked all night to put it out. It has been hard work, he says at the shift change on Wednesday morning.
"We have brought a crane truck here to lift a 40-square-metre metal roof. Right now we can't put out the fire there," he says, adding that there is no longer any risk of the fire spreading.
The fire we have now is within our containment lines. We are confident that our containment lines are holding.
According to Amundsson, the fire has affected several apartments. The control centre at the Western Blekinge Rescue Service cannot say exactly how many, other than that two lifts have been affected.
