They were sentenced, respectively, to two years and to two years and four months in prison after taking part in protests that erupted in early June following the December stabbing of 18-year-old Henry Nowak in Southampton. Despite being seriously injured, police handcuffed him while he bled to death.
Similar to the violent protests in Belfast - which on Tuesday led to cars and houses being burned down - Nowak's family appealed for the act not to be used to incite violence.
On Wednesday, the family of the man who was attacked in Belfast on Monday said, "We want to make it absolutely clear that the unrest is not welcomed by us," Sky News reports.
One man has been arrested so far following the protests in Belfast.
