The DP World Tour season finale has developed into a real hornet's nest.
Eleven players are within two strokes of the final 18 holes – and Ludvig Åberg is one of them. The 26-year-old from Scania continued his climb on Saturday, needing 67 strokes after seven birdies and two bogeys at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Åberg shares ninth place at -11 overall. World number two Rory McIlroy – who is also number one in the "Race to Dubai" – leads the way together with Dane Rasmus Neergard-Petersen at -13.
Then follow six players at -12. Including the Englishman Tyrrell Hatton, who if he wins has a small chance of also beating McIlroy to the overall victory in the "Race to Dubai".
Alex Norén was tied for the lead after 14 holes after four birdies so far. Then followed a nightmare period where he made bogey-bogey-double bogey and the round ended at par, 72 strokes.
"Somehow it didn't feel as good as yesterday," Norén tells Viaplay.
He shares 18th place at –8.
