Just over six weeks after the election, Sweden still has no new government. The opinion poll shows that support for Tidösidan is almost four percentage points higher than for the red-green parties, DN reports.
“It is a warning signal to the red-green parties if there is an extra election,” says Nicklas Källebring, an analyst at Ipsos.
It is the first time since October 2022 that Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s (M) side has led the parties that want to see Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson become prime minister.
M and SD are leading Tidösidan’s advance and, in rounded figures, have 24 and 19 percent support, respectively, in the DN/Ipsos poll.
The survey is based on 1,589 interviews with eligible voters between October 13 and 25.
