The number of incidents of threats and violence between children and young people decreased by just over seven percent in 2025 compared to the previous year, according to the authority. Incidents directed at employees decreased by three percent over the same period.
This is the third year in a row that the number of incidents has decreased. This is despite more children and young people being placed, the authority says in a press release.
"Despite the fact that we are caring for more and more children and young people with difficulties regulating strong emotions, acting-out behavior, high risks and network connections, we are seeing improved results. It is gratifying to be able to incorporate this into our continued work," says Si's Security Director Joakim Righammar in the press release.
