Inspired by a buttercup, yellow with a green pistil, this is what this year's May flower looks like.
This year's flower is designed by 12-year-old Nellie Philton from Gothenburg, who thinks that you get energy and become happy from the yellow color.
The money from the sale of May flowers is used to provide economic support to children, for example, so that they can have a meaningful leisure activity.
"My May flower is supposed to give children hope; everyone should be able to have a leisure activity and have fun with friends," says Nellie Philton, who herself practices floorball, in a press release.
