1. Andreas Lundstedt – "Vicious"

Alcazar veteran Andreas Lundstedt is participating in Melodifestivalen for the tenth time and does it with the same feeling as usual. "Vicious" is an explosive disco hit where you can already see the audience clapping in time. The song has so much energy that it potentially can get tired couch potatoes to want to get up and go to the gym.

2. Ella Tiritiello – ”Only you are there”

What do you get when you mix Melodifestivalen, Veronica Maggio, and broken love? Well, Ella Tiritiello. The 18-year-old debuts in Melodifestivalen with a ballad, written by none other than Loreen. Tiritiello sings alone to the tones of a guitar before she increases the tempo and explodes in the chorus.

3. Tennessee Tears – "Yours"

Country duo Tennessee Tears is competing with "Yours" at the same time as the genre is riding a wave of success. The song is classic country where thoughts go to iconic songs like "Take me home, country roads". If it doesn't go home with the voters on the TV couch, it will at least be played at various après-ski parties around the country.

4. KAJ – "Just bathe sauna"

Finland-Swedish KAJ doesn't just make music but is also an entertainment group – and it shows when they debut in Melodifestivalen. The song feels as much like an attempt to emulate the humorous side of Käärijä as to create unity like Samir & Viktor. If their goal with the competition is to get the Swede and the Finn closer, they will likely succeed.

5. Amena – "Do good be better"

Amena Alsameai came to Sweden from Yemen five years ago and has already made herself known in Music Sweden through "Idol". The contribution has a calm tempo, and the message clearly reflects her ambition to spread hope and goodness through music. The message is repeated so many times that the chorus gets stuck in your head. The song's most exciting part is the bridge that reminds of Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license".

6. Måns Zelmerlöw – "Revolution"

Those who had hoped that Måns Zelmerlöw would return to Melodifestivalen to surprise the audience will likely be disappointed. "Revolution" is so similar to "Heroes" that you can almost see Zelmerlöw dancing forward with the same "power moves" that got him to win Eurovision 2015. The well-polished contributions have been criticized in recent years and haven't been particularly successful in Eurovision, but as Zelmerlöw himself sings in this year's contribution, "everything is possible".
