The US president has threatened Sweden with additional tariffs - 10 percent from February 1 and 25 percent from June 1.
The increases on top of today's tariff levels could cause Sweden's exports to the US to shrink by 16 and 28 percent respectively over three to five years, compared to tariff levels at the end of 2024, according to the Swedish Board of Commerce's simulations.
If today's tariff levels remain unchanged, Swedish exports to the US could instead decrease by around 6 percent.
Some trade is expected to be redirected to other markets, but those effects are limited.
"Sweden's total exports to the world could decrease by approximately 0.8 percent at 10 percent additional tariffs and by approximately 1.3 percent at 25 percent tariffs," the authority writes in a press release.
