Although the summer holidays may still feel distant for many, the country's amusement parks are preparing for the season opening.

Astrid Lindgren's World has expanded its attractions and environments for 2026, which will also be reflected in prices.

During the high season, admission prices are increased by approximately 10 percent. A day ticket for an adult now costs 565 kronor, while children (3–14 years) and pensioners pay 430 kronor. During the pre-season, the increase remains at 5 percent.

"Of course, increases in operating costs, such as energy costs, wage costs and inflationary pressure in general, also affect costs for consumables and construction materials," CEO Joacim Johansson writes in a comment.

Tough for households

Both Liseberg and the Parks and Resorts group (which includes Gröna Lund, Kolmården, Furuvik and Skara Sommarland) continue to use variable pricing, which means that ticket prices vary depending on the date of visit.

Liseberg is not changing the price of tickets purchased online.

"That's actually a large proportion of our guest volume. Around 80 percent of our guests choose to buy online," says Robert Arvidsson, commercial manager at Liseberg.

However, if you buy your ticket on-site, it will be slightly more expensive. An entrance ticket with a ride pass will cost between 415 and 695 kronor this year, compared to 395–645 kronor in 2025.

"What drives pricing in general is the new attractions and the investments we actually make in the park,"

Within Parks and Resorts, most parks are choosing to keep prices at the same level as the previous year.

"With respect to the current global situation, interest rates and the financial uncertainty for families, we have chosen to keep prices essentially the same as last year," says Joanna Hammar, vice president at Parks and Resorts.

Choose to lower prices

Gröna Lund is maintaining the price of admission and season passes, but is increasing the price of the Green Card (which includes concerts) by 20 kronor.

Furuvik is also maintaining the price of both day tickets and season tickets at last year's levels, while Kolmården is raising its ticket prices during the high season.

Skara Sommarland is choosing a different path. It is keeping the price of the season pass but lowering the price of day tickets.

"Skara Sommarland has a shorter season than other parks and also opens later this year, which gives fewer opportunities for low-season pricing," says Joanna Hammar.
