This summer, the small Balkan country signed an agreement with the US government to accept up to 50 migrants who will be deported to their home countries.
"If I'm not mistaken, one or two of them are here," Kurti said in a television interview on Thursday evening.
The US has made similar agreements with countries such as Eswatini, Ghana, Rwanda and conflict-torn South Sudan. Many people have also been sent to countries in Central America.
In addition, Kosovo has reached an agreement with Denmark to rent out prison places to convicted persons.
On Monday, EU countries agreed that it will be possible to send asylum seekers to countries outside the Union that are deemed safe during the processing period.
