Osmond had been suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS) since 1987, which eventually forced him to stop performing. He died at the age of 76.
The Osmond Brothers became one of the most recognizable names in pop history through their music and television appearances. They enjoyed enormous success with hits such as “One Bad Apple” and “Crazy Horses.” Alan Osmond was the group’s primary songwriter.
The group originally consisted of Alan, Wayne, Merrill and Jay Osmond, but was later expanded to include siblings Donny and Jimmy.
