Sveriges Radio's P4 has mapped the proportion of party changers by comparing candidate lists for the Riksdag, regions and municipalities from 2022 with this year's lists. The Liberals are at the top, with approximately every 20th candidate having changed parties.
Close behind are the Sweden Democrats, where every 22nd candidate has changed parties, which corresponds to 141 candidates.
The Social Democrats have the lowest share, with every 80th candidate running for another party.
Of the Liberals who have changed parties, most have gone to the Moderates or the Centre. The Liberals also have the largest proportion of defectors.
