The Swedish krona continues to be the currency that has performed best this year among the most traded currencies in the so-called G10 group.
The exchange rate is 9.45 kronor to one dollar, and the krona has thus strengthened 17.2 percent this year, according to the Bloomberg news agency.
Other currencies that have performed well include the Swiss franc, which strengthened 12.9 percent against the dollar, and the Norwegian krone, up 12.4 percent.
Among the currencies that have performed worse are the Japanese yen, up 0.7 percent, and the New Zealand dollar, which has strengthened 2.5 percent against the US dollar this year.
