The message means that each player can get over one million kronor if Sweden wins the championship – and at least 260,000 if Sweden flops and loses all matches.
"The bonus amounts to the highest of Uefa's recommended amount of the compensation that SvFF receives, which is allocated to players and is to be distributed among all players in the national team squad," the association writes on its website.
According to Uefa's recommendations, each association should give between 30 to 40 percent of the association's total income during the championship to the player squad.
The new agreement means that the Swedish women will get 35 percent if they do not advance from the group stage and 40 percent – thus maximum payout – in the event of advancement.
Furthermore, each player in the Swedish squad will also receive 50,000 extra in the event of advancement to the semifinals and 100,000 if they reach the final.
