When Johanna Skottheim changed to Jesper Nelin before the final stretch, she did it in the lead, closely followed by Switzerland and with a small gap down to the nearest pursuer.
Thanks largely to almost flawless shooting. The Swede needed, on four shots, only one extra shot.
We're doing incredibly well today. Of those I saw at the top, we have the best shooting, and I would say that's a revenge for both me and Jesper after last week, says Skottheim to SVT.
Even Jesper Nelin had so far shown fine shooting, and hit all ten shots. In the next-to-last shooting, however, two extra shots were required, and Sweden lost to Switzerland, which ran away and won.
Instead, the 32-year-old had to fight for the remaining podium places, along with Germany's Justus Strelow, France's Emilien Jacquelin, and Finland's Tero Seppälä.
A fight that Nelin won. One extra shot was all that was required in the final shooting to snatch second place in the single mixed relay in Slovenian Pokljuka. Finland finished third.
I haven't delivered super well in the relays this year, so it was nice to do a really good one today, says Nelin.
Only Romania (14th) and China (15th) had fewer extra shots than Sweden.
