The funds constitute a first part of the 800 million kronor promised to Gaza and the region in December last year, and aim to support efforts for healthcare, sexual and reproductive health, food, as well as protection and emergency shelters.
The support is distributed to several UN agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
"The humanitarian situation in Gaza is devastating and the needs are acute, not least for many women and children," says Minister for Development Cooperation Benjamin Dousa (The Moderate Party) in a press release.
Dousa also emphasizes that it is of utmost importance that the parties adhere to the ceasefire in Gaza.
