Sweden is supporting the Ukrainian university Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) with 23.6 million kronor for research and education that will facilitate the country's path towards EU membership.
This will go towards twelve professorships from Ukraine and other countries, 30 teaching scholarships and at least two conferences focusing on EU accession, says Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa (M) over the phone from Kyiv.
The Minister is deeply impressed by KSE's ability to continue working despite the ongoing war.
In rain and shine, in calm and storm, they deliver very high-quality research and education for Ukraine's future. It was incredibly inspiring to visit, says Dousa.
