It is so incredibly good to win against Ukraine, we have had it tough with them in recent years so it feels great, says Julia Nilsson in SVT after the match.
It became a pleasant first set, where Sweden had a comfortable lead all the way and in the end won with 25–20.
The second set started more evenly, before Ukraine could pull away. But after a dramatic turn, Sweden won with 26–24.
The match ended with 25–19 to Sweden, which with 3–0 in sets secured three points.
We had a good start, had it a bit slow in the second set, but it feels nice that we could turn it, says Julia Nilsson.
On Saturday, Sweden will play its last group stage match in the Golden League against Slovakia, before the final round "Final four" is decided in Ängelholm on 28-29 June.
