Star Durant sank Larsson's Miami

The Swedish NBA rookie Pelle Larsson and his Miami had a grip on the away game against Phoenix – leading by 84–69 a bit into the second half. Then the home team came back. Led by superstar Kevin Durant, Phoenix were able to win by three points, 115–112.

The decisive push came when Durant gave Phoenix a four-point lead with 16 seconds left to play and the home team could head towards their sixth straight win.

For Miami, the loss was the second in a row and the team has started the season with three wins and four losses. Last time against Sacramento (110–111), the Swedish rookie Larsson scored 13 points in his third NBA game of his career.

This is a new level, but I'm starting to get into it. I want to work hard in both ends of the court, said the 23-year-old to Aftonbladet.

Against Phoenix, it was six points for Larsson, who got the sixth most playing time on the team with 21.23 minutes on the court.

Larsson is the third Swede to play in the NBA after Jonas Jerebko and Jeffery Taylor.

Fellow countryman Bobi Klintman, who was also selected in this summer's draft, has not yet been available for debut in his Detroit Pistons due to a calf injury.
