The high pressure, which is now located over the UK, will move in over Sweden and spread across the country on Monday. This will bring more stable weather and sunshine in many areas.
On Tuesday, temperatures will rise significantly – up to 15 degrees in Götaland and large parts of Svealand.
But that's not all. Warm air from the continent will make it even warmer in the middle of the week, and the warmth will also advance northwards.
It's possible that we'll reach over 20 degrees somewhere on the east coast in the middle of the week. And all the way up to Sundsvall, we can expect temperatures of up to 15 degrees, says Linnea Rehn Wittskog, meteorologist at SMHI.
But the nice weather won't last. On Thursday, a low-pressure system will move in over Norrland, bringing colder air, and next weekend, lower temperatures are expected to spread across the entire country.
