South Korea's suspended president Yoon Suk Yeol refused again on Christmas Day to show up for an interrogation.
The investigators in question had requested that Yoon appear at 10 am local time, but that did not happen. As recently as last Wednesday, the former prosecutor was ordered to appear for questioning but did not show up. Nor did he provide any explanation for his absence.
Yoon was suspended from the presidency in connection with the parliament's vote to initiate an impeachment process against him due to his heavily criticized decision to declare a state of emergency. In addition to this process, two criminal investigations are also underway.
