"We want to smoke criminals out of the labor market," says the party's legal policy spokesperson, Teresa Carvalho.
According to Carvalho, the criminal economy is estimated to have a turnover of 352 billion kronor annually.
That money is earned in working life, both in business and in welfare, she says.
To address this, the party wants, among other things, the authorities to increase their checks at workplaces. This applies primarily to the unannounced inspections carried out jointly by the Swedish Tax Agency and the police in high-risk industries.
According to the proposal, the goal is an additional 10,000 inspections annually, in addition to the approximately 30,000 that are currently taking place.
