During the weekend, Amy is expected to reach Sweden. And it is an area that stretches from the southwestern parts of Svealand down over Västra Götaland that seems to be affected the worst. There, SMHI has issued a yellow warning for strong winds.
"There is a risk of fallen trees and branches as well as flying objects", SMHI writes and urges, among other things, to anchor things like trampolines and garden furniture.
The warning applies from October 4 at 06.00 in the morning until 14.00. "Occasional heavy rain" is also expected.
Yellow warnings have also been issued for Kattegatt and Skagerrak on Friday afternoon, where Amy arrives first.
In the Härjedalsfjällen and southern Jämtlandsfjällen, it seems to become very windy, and there a yellow warning has been issued from Friday evening at 18.00 to Saturday afternoon at 15.00. During Saturday, rain in the area can turn into snow or sleet.
SMHI has three levels of weather warnings:
Yellow warning: Consequences for society, some risks for the public.
Orange warning: Serious consequences for society, danger for the public.
Red warning: Very serious consequences for society, great danger for the public.
