The previous record for guaranteed money in a contract was held by Cleveland's quarterback DeShaun Watson, who when he signed for five years in 2022 was guaranteed 2.3 billion kronor.

Buffalo was eliminated in the semifinals last season, but Josh Allen was named the league's most valuable player.

The club has not released any details about Allen's extension, but sources tell the news agency AP that the contract is worth 330 million dollars until 2030.

This makes the 28-year-old second in the NFL's salary league right now in terms of contract value. Topping the list is Kansas City's quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who in 2020 signed for ten years with the club and will receive approximately 4.5 billion kronor (450 million dollars) as a three-time Super Bowl winner.

Per season, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott is the highest paid. He earns an average of 605 million kronor (60 million dollars) per year after extending his contract with four seasons last summer.
