On the northern hemisphere, more specifically in Vallentuna, live siblings Elin and Joel Andersson, 11 and 14 years old, who got a good look at the partial solar eclipse outside their family's house.
All clouds are gone, so now you can see clearly. It's very cool and unusual, it feels like a big experience. I saw it on the news this morning and then I wanted to check, says Elin Andersson.
Looking directly at the sun is dangerous for the eyes, even behind sunglasses. But fortunately, their dad happened to have two welding masks lying around in the garage, so the siblings could take a proper look.
It looks like you've taken a big bite out of the sun. It's fun that it's so much bigger than you think, things you can't influence, says Joel Andersson.
In the Stockholm area, the solar eclipse will be visible until 13.21. The siblings are making the most of following the entire process.
It said it would be at its peak at half past twelve, says Elin Andersson.
