Israeli prosecutors are charging the seven with bribery, money laundering, obstruction of justice and tax crimes, among other things, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Over several months last year, the defendants are alleged to have abused their position to illegally obtain tens of millions of shekels and other property in various ways.
During the investigation, crypto wallets and cash worth over 50 million shekels (equivalent to 153 million SEK) were seized.
When some of the defendants learned of the investigation and the arrest of one of the suspects, three attempted to conceal evidence to hinder the investigation.
