The measures should be financed and should not lead to increased government borrowing requirements, according to Ardalan Shekarabi, the party's labor market policy spokesperson.
S wants to give an extra 250 million kronor to SAO jobs, where students in grades 8 and 9 are paid for extra jobs as a way into the labor market. That would be double the amount the government is investing in SAO jobs.
In addition, S wants to invest 50 million in relocation support. The employment service will decide what will be covered by the support.
It is already known that S also proposes tripling the number of labor market training places and investing three billion more in labor market policy than the government proposes.
