The Tidö parties have blocked KU officials from examining which parts of the Landerholm affair can be reviewed without disrupting the ongoing legal process, according to Nilsson.
It is serious that the government can block an examination of itself in this way,
This is a clear cover-up on the part of the Prime Minister.
Change in the law
S now wants to see "Lex Landerholm", an amendment to the Riksdag's rules to introduce minority protection for the KU's work. The party will raise the issue in a committee initiative next week.
The government's former national security adviser, Henrik Landerholm, was forced to resign in January last year after negligence in handling documents. He was charged, but acquitted in the district court. However, the verdict has been appealed.
The KU has received several review notifications from the opposition regarding the affair.
Nilsson states that this concerns, among other things, why the Government Offices did not record a damage assessment for 673 days, how security incidents were reported internally, what information the Prime Minister received and when, and whether the Prime Minister's press secretary communicated misleadingly or incorrectly about the matter.
Promise to move on
This does not concern the issue of guilt in court, but the government's responsibility and should therefore be able to be reviewed by the Swedish Constitutional Court without delay,

Nilsson believes that all opposition parties would support introducing minority protection in the committee. If the red-green side wins the election this fall, S promises that the issue will be investigated.
Yes, I can't see that an S-led government would ever block there being papers on the table.
