According to the law that comes into force on July 1, it will still be permitted to pay for pre-recorded material, but it will become illegal to influence the content – such as paying someone to perform a sexual act. It can, for example, involve recording a porn film that is sent to the one who pays.
The law also prohibits promoting or economically exploiting someone to perform a sexual act remotely in exchange for compensation, reports the TV channel.
Porn platform Onlyfans has criticized the law before it was voted through and, among other things, noted that it pays "twelve million dollars in taxes every year".
