A man in Karlstad is convicted of serious sex crimes against children.
The man was convicted of repeatedly assaulting a girl who was younger than 15 at the time, local media reports.
The man, who denies the crime, was sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated rape of a child and aggravated sexual abuse of a child. In addition to the prison sentence, he must also pay 410,000 kronor in damages to the victim.
