The parents of the affected girls filed a police report, claiming that the school allowed the man to continue working despite warning signs about his behavior. However, according to the prosecutor, the evidence is not sufficient to prove that the school management was guilty of a crime.
"It was expected, but a terrible disappointment nonetheless," a parent told SVT.
Last fall, the Court of Appeal for Western Sweden increased the man's sentence to two years and four months in prison.
