Norway's so-called "bonus prince," Marius Borg Høiby, is accused of transporting 3.5 kilograms of cannabis and is charged with drug offenses and violating a restraining order. Høiby has pleaded guilty to all counts.

Norway's state prosecutor Sturla Henriksbø confirms to Aftenposten that charges have been filed on several new counts. According to the indictment, Høiby is alleged to have received at least 3.5 kilograms of marijuana in July 2020, which he transported and handed over to a person in Tønsberg.

He admits guilt for this old incident, where on one occasion he transported marijuana from A to B without earning a penny. He also admits to the other incidents, says Høiby's lawyer, Ellen Holager Andenæs, to NTB.

Before Christmas, the accused, 28, was re-interviewed and the police carried out a search of his apartment in Oslo. The police have been investigating the new incidents since December last year.

Høiby has previously been charged with rape, domestic violence and unlawful threats. The trial will begin on February 3 at Oslo District Court.
