1 p.m.: The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded at Oslo City Hall in Norway.
4 p.m.: Awards ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall.
The guests' entrance is usually of great interest because that's when we get to see what clothes they're wearing.
The award ceremony will begin with a speech by the Nobel Foundation's Chairwoman, Professor Astrid Söderbergh Widding. The laureates will then receive their medals and diplomas from King Carl Gustaf.
The Royal Swedish Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Mika Eichenholz, is responsible for the music and soprano Maria Bengtsson is the vocal soloist.
7 p.m.: Banquet at Stockholm City Hall.
The evening begins with the royals and other guests of honor entering the Blue Hall in procession. Before that, the guests of honor have been introduced to the royal family in the Prince's Gallery.
Around 1,300 guests will then take their seats. Once everyone has sat down and toasted, the still-secret menu created by chefs Pi Le and Tommy Myllymäki will be served, with a dessert by pastry chef Frida Bäcke.
10:35 p.m.: The laureates' speeches begin if the schedule is met.
11 p.m.: The table is broken and the guests move from the Blue Hall to the Golden Hall where there will be dancing.
11:05 p.m.: Nobel Nightcap: The secret after-party that this year is organized by students at Stockholm University.
