The suspicions have been extended against a 21-year-old Swede who is being held in custody in Denmark, suspected of having acted as an intermediary when Swedish youths were recruited for murder assignments in the neighboring country. In total, he is now suspected of involvement in five different crimes, four in Copenhagen and its surroundings and one in Jutland.
The new suspicions were tried by a custody judge in Copenhagen on Wednesday. According to the prosecutor, he acted as a coordinator in a suspected murder attempt on Jutland on June 10. Two Swedish youths who had traveled to the area visited an address near Herning early in the morning, equipped with a pistol, but the intended victim was not at home.
The 21-year-old Swede denies involvement in the incident, while a 28-year-old co-suspect admits to having been involved.
