The airline SAS is launching a flight route between Copenhagen and Seoul, South Korea, with a premiere on September 12, 2025. This will be the first regular route between Scandinavia and Korea, the company writes in a press release.

The route will be operated four times a week during the summer season and three times during the winter period. The investment in South Korea is taking place after SAS, in connection with the new ownership structure, joins a new airline alliance, Skyteam, which also includes the South Korean airline Korean Air.

"Seoul, known as a global center for culture, innovation, and business, is a strategic addition to our growing network", SAS CEO Anko van der Werff announces in the press release.
