At least one frigate with air defense will be sent to the Baltic Sea region, Nato states in a statement to Reuters.
The measures also include platforms for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
The message comes after Nato's military committee held a meeting in Latvia on Saturday, writes Ritzau.
The committee's meeting has been planned for some time and there, among other things, was discussed how several European countries have had their airspace violated.
Among other things, Denmark has been subjected to a number of incidents with drones at several airports and Russian fighter jets have violated Estonia's airspace.
Most recently, on Friday evening and night to Saturday, several incidents with drones occurred at several of the Danish defense force's facilities, according to Danish authorities.
Suspicions have been directed towards Russia, and Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has formulated it as her country "in recent days has been subjected to a hybrid war".
