The Moderates achieved a better election result than expected, as the party won 19.9 percent. At the same time, an opinion poll by SVT/Verian on Friday showed 15.8 percent for the Moderates.

Martin Borgs believes that the party has been disadvantaged because media coverage is based on the polls.

We will call representatives from all opinion polls so they can get to the bottom of how this can happen, that every time in three elections in a row the Moderates are greatly underestimated in the election campaign, he tells SVT.
