A song that was recorded for Tina Turner's successful album "Private Dancer" and which had been lost, has been rediscovered and was released on Thursday.
The song, "Hot for you, baby", was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood in 1984, but was ultimately rejected in favor of megahits like "What's love got to do with it", "Better be good to me" and the title track "Private Dancer", reports BBC.
The master tape was recently rediscovered when Turner's record label compiled a 40th anniversary edition of "Private Dancer".
"Hot for you, baby" is described as a rocky upbeat song with biting guitar chords and an excellent example of Turner's raspy singing style.
The song was written by Australian musicians George Young and Harry Vanda. The anniversary edition of "Private Dancer" will be released in March this year.
