According to the plan, the restaurant would have reopened on Tuesday - but that will not happen. In an email that Expressen has taken part of, Coco & Carmen writes that the reopening is being postponed because they have not yet received an answer to what caused the outbreak.
Stockholm City's environmental administration has received preliminary test results showing that listeria was found on both surfaces and food at the restaurant, reports TV4.
But what is the source of the outbreak is still unclear.
It's a bit tricky because the preliminary report only says whether there is listeria or not. But if you don't know the amount, it doesn't say anything. Listeria can be found everywhere, really, says Lovisa Grimsell, press spokesperson at the environmental administration in Stockholm, to Expressen.
Eleven people have so far been confirmed infected with listeria after visiting Coco & Carmen, reports region Stockholm on Monday morning. Over 100 people have had symptoms and visited the hospital in the region.
